Experience and interface design for the PointCheck™ medical device
PointCheck™ is a device developed by Leuko, a startup created in collaboration between the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MiT) in Boston. This device allows for the non-invasive analysis of neutropenia levels in the blood, enabling remote monitoring of infection risk without the need for blood draws at a health centre.

Touch navigation in a reduced space
The major challenge in this project was the creation of a visual system for small screens, with patterns and behaviours designed to meet the needs of both patients and doctors.
A touch interface on a small screen to ensure a high-quality interactive experience for patients
Colours and typography
We implemented a high contrast to facilitate viewing on small screens, avoiding the typical medical colours.
The typeface implemented was Montserrat, due to its square style and ample positive space, improving legibility at reduced sizes.
